Day job: GIS Associate, ecoPartners Carbon
Chris first dove into GIS working on an undergraduate thesis relating landscape characteristics to stream health, and he hasn't looked back since. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2013 with Bachelors degrees in Environmental Science, German, and a minor in GIS, he started working at ecoPartners Carbon, a forestry firm that helps develop carbon offset projects to conserve some of the world's most endangered forests. Chris is most proficient with ArcGIS, but is always excited to learn new ways of doing things as well. Chris also posts GIS tips for ArcGIS and other geospatial tools at www.maybeitsamap.wordpress.com.
