Rob Gaston

Rob Gaston has spent the last ten years building geospatial web applications at Farallon Geographics (http://fargeo.com/) in San Francisco, CA.  He's a core developer on the Arches project (http://archesproject.org), an open-source system for managing cultural heritage data.

He has a passion for teaching technical skills in a hands-on environment and has spent time teaching web development skills at General Assembly.

Outside of work, he is a husband, music & politics nerd and cat lover, who can often be found volunteering to help save Oakland’s cats with Cat Town (http://cattownoakland.org/).
